Exciting venture for Springs
Markon, one of the leading property and car dealerships in Springs, is almost done with their exciting new venture.

A building on Third Street is being renovated by Markon and will be home to some exciting new opportunities for the town of Springs.
The main attraction will be a recording studio, which will take up most of the top level of the building and is expected to be fully operational by the end of September, according to director of the Markon Group, Henlo Meyer.
“The project has been ongoing for about a year now. In addition to the recording studio, there will be offices to rent and a music store,” says Henlo.
The recording studio is fully soundproof and will house some of the best recording equipment the world has to offer. It will be big enough to accommodate bands as well as full choirs.
Henlo says he is more than willing to help out bands and choirs in Springs.
“If I hear of a great band or singer in Springs, I don’t mind bringing them in to the studio and recording a song for them. Our aim with this studio is to be reasonably priced but still produce quality music.”
According to Henlo, the building will be a very modern contemporary style and will have an industrial feel with high roofs, open ceilings and metal staircases.
“It won’t really create jobs, but it will make people from outside want to come to Springs. I have always had a very positive attitude towards Springs and want to continue helping in the growth of our town. We are not an outskirt town anymore, we are a suburb of Jo’burg,” he says.
