They were walking home down McClean Street in Petersfield at 2am, after a pub in Geduld, they were approached by three men.
According to Springs police spokesman Captain Johannes Ramphora, the men pulled the women into an open field next to the park.
“One of the rapists pulled the mother to one side and the other two took her daughter to a different spot where both women were raped,” says Capt Ramphora.
The mother was also robbed of her jewellery.
The three rapists ran towards the railway line.
No arrests have been made.
