Vita Nova receives equipment

The grant was used to purchase a washing machine, tumble dryer, an industrial vegetable peeler, 40 duvet inners and covers, as well as sheets.

All of the above were given to the Vita Nova Centre on Wednesday.

Director of the Vita Nova Centre Michelle Immelman, accepted the equipment and bedding.

According to Immelman, the washing machine and dryer will be used once the old ones need to be replaced.

She also stated that the centre was in great need of the extra bedding.

Before receiving the industrial vegetable peeler, everything was peeled by hand.

Unfortunately, on account of the weather, the children and residents of the centre were not present at the handover.
