Two houses robbed in different areas in Springs

Two cases of house robbery were opened at the Springs Police Station on Friday.

A domestic worker was inside a house in Rowhill when she heard someone calling her name.

Captain Johannes Ramphora says there were three men at the door who informed the woman they came to deliver something she ordered.

When she opened the door, they forced her back inside the house and ordered her to lie down.

The robbers took a TV, cell phones and the garage remote control.

Another domestic worker in Selection Park was working inside the house with the front door closed, but not locked.

She claims she hear a loud bang at the front of the house.

Ramphora says she went to investigate when three men entered the house.

One robber grabbed her and asked her where the owner of the house was.

She didn’t respond to his question and he took a Plasma TV, and all three robbers left the house.

No arrests have been made in any of the above cases.

It is not known if the two robberies are related.
