Alleged abuse-parents’ case is postponed

They were not asked to plead.

The court case of the parents who allegedly abused their children was postponed to August 22.

Both appeared on Friday morning at the same time before regional magistrate Roy le Roux in Springs regional court one, who postponed the case for further investigation.

The parents were not asked to plead.

The dad remains in custody and his wife’s bail of R2 000 was extended.

Gcobani Lungu appeared on behalf of the state, Boela van der Merwe for the mother and Pieter van Niekerk for the man.
