Springs SPCA opened this store on August 2 after the committee brought the idea to light last year as a final attempt to bring in much-needed funds.
Jody Yong, a member of the SPCA Committee, says it has been a big project for the SPCA but thanks to donations of clothing, shoes, toys, books and bric-à-brac items from the public, this has all been possible.
They hope that this will bring great success and opportunities for the public to get more involved with the local SPCA.
She also added that donations are always welcome at either the new store or at the SPCA located on the corner of Ermelo and Townsend roads in Strubenvale.
