Rhythm by the River
A sundown picnic was held on the banks of the Blesbok River on Sunday afternoon at Grootvaly.
This was hosted by the Rotary Club of Springs Park at Mary Reynolds’ small holding.
The day was relaxed while parents were lounging on the grass and children were playing cricket, catching fish and having fun in all forms.
There was also live entertainment in the form of Pieter Albert Jordaan who entertained the crowd with his different genres.
The picnic goers were definitely not deterred by the cloudy weather at this scenic landscape.
The Springs Boys’ High Band also entertained the crowd with their music which was much enjoyed by the people.
