Children enjoying Santa’s Playground

Children’s Christmas fantasies came to life at Santa’s Playground at Carnival City last Wednesday at the opening.

Part of the complex was transformed into Santa’s Carnival, where there was a number of fun-filled activities for children with festive sights.

Father Christmas was also there and spread his jolly cheer, while his happy helpers worked their magic.

There will be give-away’s every day, with exciting prizes to be won in a host of competitions.

Children can participate in interactive workshops where they build giant puzzles, make Christmas decorations, and design festive cookies.

Other entertainment includes storytelling, magic shows and the Clamber Pamper Club.

Stilt-walkers, face-painters, balloon sculptors and buskers walk the playground, adding to the Christmas carnival atmosphere.

Santa’s Playground will be open from 11am daily until December 26 at the Mardi Grass at Carnival City.
