The Springs police believe that the man is responsible for a house break-in that occurred in November 2014 in Pollak Park.
It is alleged that the suspect took several single taps, window ledges and water mixer taps.
Springs police spokesman Capt Johannes Ramphora says the police reacted on information given to them by the community.
Ramphora says the suspect was taken into custody but hasn’t been charged yet as the police are still investigating the case.
