Learners qualify for next round

Springs Secondary School learners Mohammed Hoosen and Celine Govender recently won the first round of the National Annual Schools Moot Court competition and have qualified for the next level.

The National Annual Schools Moot Court competition was established in 2011.

The aim is to create an awareness and correct understanding of the constitution of the country.

Learners with an interest in pursuing the legal field have been given their day in court to practice South African law through the competition.

The provincial final will be held at the end of September at the Constitutional Court with actual judges presiding over the cases of the nine schools competing.

Only three schools will be selected to represent their province.

Springs Secondary School is convinced of a national victory.
