Sewage spill fouls Tonk Meter Way
Another massive sewage leak has made its appearance known in Springs.
In Tonk Meter Way, next to the Pollak Park Golf Club, sewage flows for metres on end.
Residents complain that the stench is unbearable and say they find it embarrassing as this road is a main thoroughfare into Springs.
“This is one of the first views to meet motorists as they come into our town, what must they think?” asks one of the residents.
The sewage is seeping out of a blocked manhole in Tonk Meter Way where the entrance to the golf club is situated.
