Learners report dagga trees

The Springs police, together with Wild Wild Guardians, uprooted numerous dagga trees at a veld near a school in Springs on Tuesday morning.

Springs police spokesperson, Amanda Greybe says the learners saw the trees growing outside their school and went to report it to their deputy principal.

“We were then called to go and pull up these trees,” said Greybe.

“We are proud of these children as this really shows that their awareness campaigns in schools are making a difference.

“Thank you also to Wild Wild Guardians who came through to help as they normally work very closely with the SAPS,” she says.
