Sneaky husband stabbed in the head

Injured husband recovers in a local hospital after he was stabbed in the head.

A 40-year-old Devon man was stabbed in the forehead in an open field near Tonk Meter Way, Pollak Park, on Wednesday, after an excursion to collect medicine for his wife in Strubenvale went horribly wrong.

According to Captain Johannes Ramphora, Springs police spokesperson, the man arrived at the Strubenvale pharmacy at around 10am.

“He apparently then went to the CBD where he picked up a sex worker.

“The victim says they drove to an open field near Tonk Meter Way where they were approached by two suspects.

“One of the suspects, who was armed with a knife, allegedly pulled the man from the vehicle, stabbed him in the forehead and dragged him away from the vehicle.

“The victim says the other suspect stayed with the woman in the vehicle.

“They left him stranded as the armed suspect returned to the vehicle and the suspects drove off with the woman in the victim’s car.

“A passer-by took the injured man to a nearby hospital for treatment,” says Ramphora.

The police recovered the abandoned vehicle and the woman in Tsakane on the same day.

The woman claims she was raped by both suspects.

The police are investigating cases of hijacking, attempted murder and rape.
