Seven-year-old girl is ambassador for BMAD

Zané Barnard (7) was recently chosen as first princess for the Mini Miss Hope 2017 photogenic competition.

This placed her second in the seven to nine age group for girls.

Her mother, Suzette Barnard, says they regularly send photos to organisers of photogenic pageants who then announce the winners via social media.

“If she wins any of the competitions the sash and crown are sent by post,” she says.

Zané was also recently chosen as third princess for the EFS Awards Miss South Africa Angel of Mercy 2017.

Suzette says her daughter, a Laerskool Selectionpark learner, will also be an ambassador for South African Beauties Making a Difference (BMAD).

Her mother explains five winners will be chosen for five beauty pageants which will take place at Dinokeng in Pretoria on October 28.

“This pageant forms part of the national and provincial South African pageant where each finalist will be an ambassador for BMAD,” she says.

The five pageants include Miss All Star South Africa 2017, Miss Royal Beauty South Africa 2017, South Africa’s Royal Miss National Beauty 2017, Miss Royal Queen South Africa 2017 and Model Challenge 2017.

“Zané will be representing Gauteng,” says Suzette.

Other recent photogenic competition results are the Miss Sparkling Hope Best Hair 2017 where Zané was second princess and was placed as a third princess in the Seven to 11 years age group for Miss Face of the Future 2017.
