Man dies with knife in hand

Man believed to have been in a fatal fight.

The body of Tshepo Phasha was found in Main Street, Everest Informal Settlement on Saturday.

According to Capt Johannes Ramphora, SAPS spokesperson, they arrived on the scene at 6.50am.

“We believe the man, whose age is unknown, was stabbed with a sharp object.”

Paramedics declared Phasha dead on the scene.

“The deceased had an open wound to his chest and left side of his head above the ear,” says Ramphora.

A knife was found in the deceased’s right hand.

He was allegedly involved in a fight with someone else.

Ramphora urges anyone with information that may help them with their investigation, to contact the police station on 011 365 5719.
