Sewage woes in Dersley

Metro reacts to sewage leak withing two working days.

A manhole situated in an open field in Orpiment Road, Dersley was overflowing with sewage on Thursday.

The strong overflow was the cause of a terrible odour around the area.

Ward councillor Ramesh Sheodin finds the amount of sewage leaks in the area disturbing.

“There are far too many sewage leaks and the metro needs to take drastic steps to fix the problem,” he says.

Metro workers were seen fixing the leak on Monday afternoon.
