Community donates goodies to the less fortunate for Christmas
Die Agterplaas Christmas Gift Box Drive proved to be a great success, with many underprivileged children benefitting from the project.
Zeldine Bornman from Die Agterplaas says this was a community-focused, heart-warming charity project.
“With Christmas around the corner, and all the children waiting for Santa Claus to arrive, the gift boxes made their dreams come true,” she says.
It was a joint venture between the community and Miss Springs 2018, Charlene Ronquest.
She says when they received the Christmas wish list from the underprivileged children in the Springs area, they decided to create a Christmas gift box full of surprises.
The boxes were wrapped with beautiful paper and sealed with love.
“We would like to thank each person who contributed to this charity project.
“The Springs community made little hearts happy,” says Zeldine.
She wishes everyone a Merry Christmas.
