The Ekurhuleni Metro has issued a notification to residents of Springs that repair of a faulty mainline pipe will affect the water supply tomorrow (Wednesday).
“Technicians are scheduled to repair a leaking mainline pipe on Wednesday from 9am to 5pm,” says Themba Gadebe, spokesperson for the metro.

He states the repairs will result in a temporary water supply interruption affecting residents at the Far East Rand Hospital and in New State Areas as well as Danie Street.
Residents are advised that a water tanker will be made available at the hospital and at Danie Street.
“We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause residents.”
