Voter registration weekend for 2019 national elections

The first round of voter registration for the national elections in 2019 starts on Saturday.

There are seven wards and 43 voting districts in Springs.

“We urge people to visit their voting station to either change their address or check their registration status,” says Veli Mzimela of the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) Springs Office.

The public can also check on their registration status and address by visiting the IEC website on www.elections.org.za

Alternatively, you can SMS your identity number (ID) to 32810 at a cost of R1 per SMS.
