Staff were busy serving customers when seven men entered the store.
Two were armed with firearms.
According to Capt Johannes Ramphora, the spokesperson for the Springs police, the two armed suspects robbed a customer of R5 000 in cash.

The other suspects instructed the complainant to open the cash register and took R4 900 in cash and a further R3 000, which was inside the bag.
The suspects went to the manager of the store and instructed her to open a safe from which they took an unknown number of cell phones
“The suspects locked all staff members in the office and fled the scene,” says Ramphora.
A case of business robbery was opened at the Springs Police Station.
