Man hit with plank for allegedly calling someone the K-word

Two men got into an argument when one allegedly bumped into the other’s car with his trolley and hit him with a plank in Coaton Avenue last Monday.

At 7.45am, the complainant was driving down Coaton Avenue in Selection Park when a pedestrian pushing a trolley, bumped his car.

Capt Johannes Ramphora, the spokesperson for the Springs police, says the complainant stopped immediately to speak to him.

The complainant alleges the pedestrian then hit him with a plank and he sustained an injury on the forehead.
