Strubenvale Park is open to the public

“I really hope the public takes ownership of the park and uses it,” says Stone.

The Strubenvale Park is ready for the residents to use.

The month-long renovation is done and young and old residents can now make use of the exercise equipment, and children can enjoy the playground equipment.

Included in the park are six picnic areas (with braai stands) and benches.

The only thing missing for residents is lights and a communal tap.

Ward councillor Dean Stone was happy with what he saw.

The park is situated on Circle Street and is open 24 hours a day.
