Seven arrested after Operation Buya Mthetho
The purpose of the operation was to curb house robbery, business robbery and possession of unlicensed firearms.

The Springs SAPS held an Operation Buya Mtheto (Operation restore the law) last Friday around various parts of Springs.
The operation was led by the head of visible policing, Col Doctor Mtimkulu.

The following successes were achieved: five J534s (written notice to appear in court) were issued for selling expired food to the value of R7 500, two illegal immigrants arrested and 20 illegal suspected cellphones were confiscated.
“The operation continues around Springs and to visit illegal shebeens,” says Springs Police spokesperson Captain Johannes Ramphora.
