In celebration of World Teachers’ Day (October 5), Every Nation in Springs hosted Darren August to help honour and inspire teachers.
Darren, a corporate trainer, life coach, entrepreneur, radio host and former lecturer, says he has dedicated his life to uplifting the teaching profession.
“Imagine if every church took time out to celebrate teachers and their hard work,” says August.
August believes the church needs to be part of the solution to the crisis in the education system today.
“The answers are clearly not coming from the government or anywhere else.
“The church cannot remain silent.”
