Brothers assaulted in Endicott house robbery

Two suspects guarded the victims while the other three suspects took the tuckshop keys and took cigarettes and other goods from the shop as well as R4 000 in cash.

A man and his two brothers were assaulted during a house robbery in Endicott on Sunday evening.

The victim had just closed his shop and was making food with his two brothers in the house, which is on the same premises as his shop, when five suspects suddenly appeared.

The suspects, four of whom were armed, started assaulting the brothers and tied them together with electric cables and covered them with a blanket.

Two suspects guarded the victims while the other three suspects took the tuckshop keys and took cigarettes and other goods from the shop as well as R4 000 in cash.

The suspects fled after the assault and no arrests have been made.
