Welgedacht Park phase two might be completed by Spring

The supervisor at the construction site, Kenneth Mbatha, showed The Addie the sites where there’ll be gyming equipment, playing equipment, a sitting wall and poles for solar lights.

The second phase of the Welgedacht Park, which is under construction, might be done by spring this year.
Ward 75 Clr Dean Stone says: “Even though there were delays, we are hopeful that the park will be completed soon.
“We hope we don’t experience any more delays.”

Mbatha says: “Most of the work has been done and we hope to complete everything soon.
“We are currently being delayed by the material suppliers who have not yet delivered the material, but we are anticipating they will deliver soon.
“Apart from that, everything is going well.”
According to Mbatha, there haven’t been any interruptions from the community thus far.
