Man held at gunpoint during hijacking

Although the victim only had R2 on him, the suspects still took the money and his car.

A man was hijacked on Tuesday evening by two suspects at the corner of Second Street and Eighth Avenue.
The motorist had just stopped at the traffic light when a silver Toyato suddenly stopped in front of him and two suspects came out the car.

The one suspect had a firearm and held the man at gunpoint while the other suspect demanded the victim to hand over his car keys and money.
Although the victim only had R2 on him, the suspects still took the money and his car.
The suspects fled the scene using Eighth Street.
No arrests have been made.
