“Ackermans in Selcourt Towers was robbed last Tuesday morning,” says Springs Police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora.
Five suspects, three of whom were armed with firearms, stormed into the shop and demanded that one of the store employees open the cabinet in the stock room.

The suspects then came back to the shop floor and took all the cellphones on display, money from the two tills and a customer’s wedding ring.
The suspects fled the scene in a white Nissan bakkie.
No shots were fired and nobody was injured during the robbery.
