This past Sunday saw the last round of league games played in LastManStands.
The pitch was abuzz as everyone wanted to snatch a spot in the top four of each league to qualify for semis and finals taking place next Sunday.
Unfortunately, Jolly Brothers, who started the season with a bang, couldn’t pull it up this past Sunday vs Spitbraai, which saw them failing to qualify for the semi-finals. Spitbraai won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 153 runs for the loss of four wickets in their 20 overs.
It was a good knock by Lyall Pearton, who scored 50 runs from 38 balls to stir his team to a solid defendable 153.
In Sunday 1, Beers & Tots will take on Drinking Buddies in the first semi-final and Liebherr Legends will take on Benoni Bench Warmers in the second semi-final.
The final will be at 12.30pm.

In Sunday 2, The Pitch Smashers will take on RKC Academy in the first semi and the second semi will feature Rusty Ballies vs Spitbraai.
The final will also be at 12.30pm.
There will be plenty of action at Olympia Stadium as teams will fight for supremacy.

The new season will start on July 28 and registrations are open and will close tomorrow.
