Kutlwano Social Organisation donates 300 food parcels in Bakerton

“At Kutlwano, which is a men’s only club, it’s important for us to take the lead in the community and bring smiles to the faces of those who are struggling,” says Makete.

Kutlwano Social Organisation handed out 300 food parcels and 300 blankets to learners from three schools around the Bakerton area on Saturday morning.

The Bakerton Hall was packed as recipients gathered to receive their parcel.

Speaking at the event, chairperson of the organisation’s committee Sello Makete says they had help to make the day a success.

The recipients were given food parcels and blankets.

“We raised the funds to do all of this and have partners who helped us today.

“Throughout the year, we have various projects to help us raise funds.

“The schools helped us identify the learners who needed assistance.
