Fund-raiser at children’s home a success

Chance Children’s Home held a fund-raiser on last Saturday to aid the centre with their selfless efforts in helping children in need.
Children from the centre performed poetry, drama, and broke into song and dance, much to the delight of the people who came out to show their support.
“Many companies and stakeholders came out to help and show their support to the centre.
“It was also an opportunity for them to ask questions and clear up any questions they had,” says centre manager Keith Mutore.

“We are all very grateful for the support everyone showed and I hope we can just have as much support next year, maybe even more,” says fund-raiser Thsimollo Moloto.

The centre aims to provide children with the necessary therapy, life skills, love and emotional support that they need to become responsible adults.
Many of the children are orphans, some of whom were abandoned by their parents and some who were neglected or physically and sexually abused.
