A man was hijacked yesterday evening in Welgedacht by two armed suspects.
Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora says the victim, with three other people, was parked on James Street when he was approcahed by two suspects who both had guns.

The suspects first tried to open the door and found it locked.
One of the suspects then pointed his gun at the victim and told him to get out of the car.
The victim and his companions then got out and the suspects drove off.

No shots were fired and no injuries were reported during the hijacking.
The value of the stolen minibus is approximately R190 000.
