Addie staff in the kitchen: Shredded beef short-rib
This recipe is a great alternative to hamburger patties and makes an informal get together with friends a little more interesting.
This recipe is perfect to serve either in a steamed bum or put the filling into dim sum.

Ingredients:
- 850g beef short ribs.
- 1 onion, peeled and diced.
- 3 garlic cloves, peeled and minced.
- 2 large handfuls of fresh thyme sprigs.
- 250ml red wine.
- 125ml water.
- 60ml hoisin sauce.
- A few drops of hickory liquid smoke (which I found at Pick n Pay in the sauce aisle)
