Help4Souls making a difference

Adriaan Bester and Magdel Coetzer and others were busy handing out food parcels to the needy residents of Springs on Tuesday.

Bester and Coetzer are from an NPO called Help4Souls, which operates across the whole of South Africa.

The charity made sure they had enough food to feed as many families as possible.

The two are in charge of the Help4Souls Springs branch and delivered food to 103 families in Geduld and Casseldale as part of the charity’s Food Drive, and their operation is growing on a daily basis.

The families received canned food such as baked beans and bully beef.

They were also given bread, vegetables, rice, sugar and various vegetables and other ingredients to prepare their own food.

Help4Souls project aims to drive food collection and distribution of food for the needy during and after lockdown.

They are a community-based organisation aimed at raising funds and donating food.

All funds raised will be used to provide essential commodities such as food, medicine and toiletries to the poor.T

hey also aim to make use of a skills project set out of the communities to educate and train the unemployed youth for future employment opportunities to improve the quality of their lives.

The charity believes wholeheartedly that majority of people have good intentions and would make use of opportunities to make a positive difference in their community.
