Long-serving police members celebrated

Springs and Kwa-Thema police recently celebrated members who have been in the service for 10 and 20 years.

Springs and Kwa-Thema police recently celebrated members who have been in the service for 10 and 20 years.
Medals and certificates were handed to detectives, members of the support services and members of visible policing.
The celebration took place in the lapa at the Springs Police Station.
Kwa-Thema Police Station commander Col Mareketle Thobejane said: “We all know this job can be dangerous and we put our lives at risk every day.
“But I think today goes to show that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
“We are very grateful for your service and hope you can continue to serve us for many more years to come.”
