Emergency services responded to a house fire in Geduld on Monday afternoon.
The house, which is situated next to the Geduld Cemetery, has in recent years become a haven for homeless people.
Many have complained about the alleged illicit activities taking place on the property.
According to Springs police spokesperson Capt Johannes Ramphora, the fire was a result of an altercation between two homeless men.
