Refined Raconteurs Toastmasters club invited the public to their first open house meeting of the year on April 7.
According to the club’s president, Valentine Muradzikwa, Toastmasters is the best kept secret.
“It is also the membership renewal period and the best time to set your leadership and communication goals.
“Members are renewing because of the amazing benefits given by the programme.
“You are taught practical leadership skills and given an opportunity to master effective communication.
“This is a smart choice to make because relationships depend on communication, you can practise without risk and it is the best safe environment to fail in.

The group has seen tremendous growth as the members harnessed the skills for hosting online meetings.
