Vaccination site opens in Bakerton

The Bakerton Covid Assistance Team (BCAT) and Eastpark Pharmacy will be opening a vaccination site at the Springs Muslim School in Bakerton.

Residents are required to bring the following with them:
• RSA ID or birth certificate with ID number or passport, or asylum seeker number or refugee number.
• An SMS indicating that you have registered. The team will register at the site if you cannot register.
• Medical aid card if you are on a medical aid scheme. Non medical aid holders still qualify for vaccination.
To register for the vaccine:
• Send the word ‘register’ to 060 012 3456 on Whatsapp.
• Dial *134*832*ID Number#.
• Call 0800 029 999 Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 20:00.
