Modderbee hosts annual Imvuselelo

“The service is open for officials with the aim of providing healing for those who went through difficult times during the different variant attacks of Covid-19."

Modderbee Correctional Services management hosted an Imvuselelo (revival) healing service on Thursday.
Oliver Mothapo from Modderbee said the Imvuselelo aimed to honour the lives of officials lost during the pandemic.
The theme for this year was Heal Me, Oh Lord and I Shall be healed.

Gospel singer Siyabonga Nxumalo provided some spiritual upliftment at the revival.

“The service is open for officials to provide healing for those who went through difficult times during the different variant attacks of Covid-19. The event also offered officials a platform to collaborate and reflect on how they survived during the storm of Covid-19 and remain focused when executing their duties,” said Mothapo.

Modderbee management partnered with various stakeholders for the revival service.
“Thank you to our churches/faith-based institutions, municipality and the leadership of law enforcement institutions to highlight the importance of spiritual revival and healing of broken souls for effective service delivery,” added Mothapo.

Prison warders attended the event.
