Auxiliary healthcare services offered on booking system
Health services, such as dentistry, optometry, podiatry and nutritionist, are offered by Gauteng Department of Health officials.

The City of Ekurhuleni provides, in addition to primary health care, auxiliary services such as dentistry and nutrition services in selected facilities.
The auxiliary services are provided at certain facilities and in a sessional manner because they are provided with the help of Gauteng Department of Health officials who are deployed in limited numbers.
Therefore, it is common that members of the public who visit facilities that do not provide these services will be referred to the nearest facility for further treatment.
Explaining how the services are offered to the public, the head of Department for Health and Social Services Dr Gilbert Motlatla explained health services, such as dentistry, optometry, podiatry and nutritionist are offered by Gauteng Department of Health officials.
