Springs Bowling Club prepares for provincial tournament

“We are looking forward to defending our title this year since we didn’t participate last year. My expectation is to bring the title back to our district.”

Springs Town Bowling Club teammates are to compete for the provincial championship title.
The selected players, John Mulupi, Serge Collard and Shaney Collard, are looking forward to representing the district and their bowling club.
“The matches will be held in March but at the moment, we are just warming up and getting ready,” said Mulupi.

Only three players will carry the momentum to represent their club and they are hoping to bring home medals.
“It is a huge achievement to be competing in the provincials because not everyone makes it to the competition. We have been participating for five years. It is only last year where we didn’t participate due to the pandemic,” he said.
“We are looking forward to defending our title this year since we didn’t participate in 2021. My expectation is to bring the title back to our district. There are about 20 districts in the entire country. It is not going to be easy, but we will work hard to bring the title home.”
