On March 12, Olympia Park School’s rugby and netball teams showed they are a force to be reckoned with at Roodepark School in Roodepoort.
The school’s sevens rugby team beat Elandspark in the final game in a dominant performance.
They scored 22 tries and conceded only two.
The rugby team went undefeated in the six games they played leading up to the final.
The u-15 netball girls’ team narrowly missed enjoying similar success as the rugby team when they fell one goal short of glory and had to settle for second place.
