Retirement village hosts open day
Valuable information about the facility and its services were shared with visitors on the day.
The Springs Retirement Village Methodist Homes recently held an open day and invited prospective residents to visit the centre.
“We want people to understand the services we offer. They can come in and see everything we have,” explained Brenda Mashiane, the centre’s resident liaison officer.
The facility consists of frail care, mid care and lodge units.
“There are residents who are completely independent and others who need 24-hour care,” she added.
Mashiane invited any interested parties to visit the centre. The centre is situated at the corner of 12th Street and Colliery Road.
