Springs resident Khosi Nkosi is ready to launch her book, God’s Anatomy, by His Stripes we are healed.
“It all began with the first transgression in Genesis 3, when man gave in to spiritual iniquity and the door to physical disease was opened, a curse was placed on the serpent, but hardship was the portion of man.
“God put a veil between Him and the creation that He made in his image after his likeness to wait, for the day that his only begotten son would tear it down to defeating disease and ultimately death.
“The revelation to take away from the events leading up to the cross is to understand that our transgressions were pardoned by the wounds, that our iniquities were forgiven by the bruises, that our peace was born through the chastisement and that by his stripes, we are healed,” explained Nkosi.

Nkosi is a Grade R teacher at a primary school in Benoni.
She holds a National Diploma in International Communication, a Bachelor of Art in Psychology and is completing her Bachelor of Art Honours in Psychology.
“This book explores the meaning and events behind the chastisement of Jesus before he was nailed to the cross.
“I give an in-depth understanding of the occurrence of name, such as the names of the Apostles and the names of God, the different locations, nations and their laws, numbers and their meanings, and the sequencing of events, and more especially their significance in scriptures according to their Greek and Hebraic origin.
“The way it is written makes it easy to follow and because it has an explanative nature it creates constant interest for the reader,” she said.

This is not Nkosi’s first book.
She wrote Ezra and Azariah’s Prayer Book, which was named after her twin daughters Ezra and Azariah.
“I wrote that book to teach my children how to pray,” she added.
The launch will be held on April 30 at 12:30 at The House of Revival church in Brakpan.
