Springs SAPS commemorates Youth Day

Springs police reached out to the youth in Daggafontein on June 16 with station commander Brigadier Thembeka Gwebushe in attendance.

Brigadier Thembeka Gwebushe presented new balls to netball teams in Daggafontein on Thursday. Receiving one of them is Masesina Shezi and Pretty Mndebele. With them are Sergeant Kgomotso Ralesenyeho and Sergeant Mmeselan Ramushu.

“This was in partnership with Social Crime and Communications, the Department of Community Safety, CPF and Youth Desk,” explained Sergeant Themba Tshabalala, communications officer of Springs SAPS.
The day’s events included a fun run/walk, netball and soccer.
Gwebushe also donated balls and a new soccer kit on behalf of the station.
