Markon’s local realtors hope to restore Springs fountain to its former glory.
“If we all use the resources we have available, we can make a monumental difference,” says Henlo Meyer, Markon Group CEO.
In hopes to restore the town of Springs, local realtors at Markon took some time out of their office to clean up the Springs fountain that is situated at the corner of Ninth Avenue and Second Street.
CEO of Markon Group Henlo Meyer says with the opening of numerous fast food franchises in Springs they took it upon themselves to help bring change in the community.
“We want our community to be proud of our town. These businesses are going to attract a lot of people to Springs, which is good for growth as well as our town’s image,” says Meyer.

Meyer hopes to join hands with other local businesses to make Springs a better place.
“We would like to challenge our community to make a change in our town, We all need to be more positive and appreciate what we have. Everyone has the power to make a positive impact in our environment.”
Meyer says they have received an overwhelming response so far from some local businesses who are willing to assist.
Markon Group thanked Clr Charmaine Kock and Lindiwe (waiting for surname) for allowing them to carry the project through.
The clean-up at the fountain started last week and they hope to partake in similar projects frequently.
