Power outage expected in Springs

Due to Eskom having urgent maintenance work, the power supply will be switched off in parts of Springs on August 30 from 09:00 until 16:00
This is according to Zweli Dlamini, the metro’s spokesperson.

The following areas will be affected:
• Nuffield
• Selcourt
• Selection Park
• Daggafontein
• Struisbult
• Distell
• Debex
“Work to restore power will be undertaken in the affected area. No guarantee can, however, be given that this deadline will be met. Work will continue until Eskom’s urgent maintenance work has been completed,” Dlamini explained.
All electrical networks and equipment shall be regarded as being electrically alive at all times while the maintenance is performed.
