Willie Smuts brings home Mr Teen International title
Selcourt resident Willie Smuts thanked his parents for their support in his passion for modelling and everyone who made his experience possible.
Selcourt resident Willie Smuts walked away with the crown of Mr Teen International, at the Mr and Miss Teen pageant on October 19 held in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
The local model had the opportunity to also compete for the Mr and Ms Teen World, Mr and Ms Teen Earth, Mr and Ms Teen International and Mr and Miss Teen Supranational titles.
Willie, who enjoyed an epic international trip, is still overwhelmed by being crowned.
“My dream of winning an international title has come true. It feels unreal and wonderful. I’m so honoured to bring this title to South Africa and especially bring it to Springs,” he said.
Willie’s mother Marycke Victor says she is grateful that her son was awarded this opportunity.
“He was a shining star throughout the competition. We are so proud of him,” she added.
