Pan African Shotokan Karate Federation to host martial arts seminar

Pan African Shotokan Karate Federation martial arts seminar is open to all age groups.

The Pan African Shotokan Karate Federation will host its martial arts seminar on December 16 at its Selcourt-based dojo.

The seminar will be joined by Shihan Wilfred Manenji Mashaya from Zimbabwe, who will offer training on martial arts weapons security.

Shihan Michael Cindi Mailula of the Pan African Shotokan Karate Federation says martial artists and other guests will be allowed to learn various types of self-defence.

“On the day, myself and Shihan Wilfred will divide people into groups and conduct our specialities separately to each group,” said Cindi.

“Everyone within all age groups will have a chance to learn everything that we’ve got to offer.”

Cindi says the seminar is also a chance for security companies to attend, as it will further enhance their capabilities with the weapons they carry.

“It will equip them with the skills to defend themselves using weapons as well as how to disarm a weapon when need be,” says Cindi.

The seminar will offer training in various arts of self-defence, such as ninjutsu, bo, ninjato, and other types of martial arts.

For more information, Cindi may be contacted on 073 212 9444.
