SPCA’s first night run of the year a success
The third SPCA night run went off without a hitch despite weather warnings.
Springs SPCA held its third-night run on Thursday.
The event was held despite the rains that had ravaged Springs during the week and on the day.
Forty participants joined in on the fun with some bringing their dogs for the event.
The funds raised at the run will go towards the upkeep of the SPCA.
“We are so grateful that the community always comes out to support us. A special shout out to our partners, the regulars who never miss an event, volunteers, staff and the committee.
“Our next event will be early in March, people just need to keep an eye on our Facebook page,” said Springs SPCA vice-chairperson Nicky Meiring.
